Abstract

The contribution of jurists from Italian canon law schools to the Council of Pisa in 1409 was in fact more significant than is commonly thought. The paper aims to investigate the un­published consilium handed down by the Vat. lat. 4039 to be attributed to An­tonio da Budrio to lay the foundations for a new dating.
